Itinerary
You’ll begin your holiday with a direct flight to Lisbon. Our driver will collect you from your flight, for your transfer to the historic Templar city of Tomar.
You'll have a free day to explore Tomar on foot and by bike.
You'll ride from Tomar to Alvados, through the Mediterranean landscape of the
Serra d'Aire e Candeeiros, (distance: 58km, ascent: 900m, difficulty: moderate).
You'll take a long loop out of Alvados, via the caves at Santo Antonoi and the river beach at Olhos de Agua, (distance: 53km, ascent: 1000m, difficulty: moderate).
Leaving Alvados and the mountain behind, you'll ride west to the UNESCO-protected Mosteiro de Alcobaca, (distance: 45km, ascent: 600m, difficulty: moderate).
Meeting the west coast, you'll turn south through the pretty fishing village of Sao Martinho do Porto before arriving in Obidos, (distance: 56km, ascent: 900m, difficulty: moderate).
You'll take a loop out of medieval Obidos, skirting the shores of Lagoa de Obidos and the banks of the Ribeira Real , (distance: 39km, ascent: 400m, difficulty: easy to moderate).
You'll be transferred to Lisbon airport for your flight home.
