Overview

Time truly stands still at the idyllic Sublime Comporta.

The unassuming Troia Peninsula is virtually unknown outside of Portugal, which makes it one of our favourite beach destinations. You’re just an hour of so from Lisbon but you could be a world away, with over 50km of white sand bordering the beautiful turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled on a tranquil seventeen-hectare estate, the Sublime Comporta is a magical, untouched retreat where you can disconnect from modern life amongst the deserted sand dunes of the Sol Troia.

The resort has twenty-three rooms and suites, and a further twenty-two villas with two to five bedrooms. Each villa has a private pool, fireplace and large outdoor terrace. There are three restaurants, with seasonal menus built around organic produce grown and harvested from Sublime Comporta’s own organic garden and orchard. There’s also a spa, a well-equipped gym, four swimming pools (including an indoor heated pool and a pool for children), a yoga pavilion, and tennis and paddle courts.
